A call for tenders to support Erasmus+ higher education student and alumni networks has been published.

The purchase includes support for student and alumni volunteer activities (projects and training), including content, administration, logistics and the development of IT tools and web presence.

Students and alumni are the best ambassadors for Erasmus+. They play a key role in shaping its evolution, especially with a successor programme now on the horizon.

The European Commission supports groups of students and alumni through the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) umbrella, which brings together the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), Erasmus Student Network (ESN), garagErasmus, and the Organisation for Cooperation, Exchange and Networking among Students (OCEANS). Their activities actively engage students and alumni to promote Erasmus+, foster social inclusion and contribute to strengthening higher education throughout the World.

Meanwhile, the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA) and a fledgling regional association in Africa, the African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF), are further enhancing the presence of Erasmus+ beyond the EU.

To continue supporting these activities, this call aims to mobilise students and alumni of EU-funded higher education programmes, such as Erasmus+, its successor and other European Union international learning mobility programmes. This will help to promote EU-funded mobility opportunities, support students participating in Erasmus+ mobility periods, and  provide advice and analysis on implementing such programmes. Let's place students and alumni at the centre of developing the new Erasmus+ programme!

Full details of the tender and the deadline for submission can be found on the call page of the European institutions’ eTendering website.

The deadline for receiving bids is Monday 9 September 2019 at 15.00.
