The event is a combination of a panel and study visits. Being organized in close cooperation with EU Delegation to Turkey and EU Info Centers, the event will gather approximately 150 young people from different regions of Turkey. Current EVS Volunteers will engage the evenltas well. This will help networking and sharing experiences for potential beneficiairies. The panel and the speeches will focus on different opportunities in Erasmus+ for young people and its contribution to youth unemployment. The background of the programme will also be discussed. Two EVS institutions (one sending and one hosting) will share their experiences and recommendations for young people. The second part of the forum is dedicated to two study visits. One study visit will be organized in colloboration with Istanbul University. The University will host these young people in a 2 hour time and will provide a ground to network incoming and outgoing Erasmus students with this group. By this way not only EVS but higher education opportunities of Erasmus+ will also be introduced. the forum is two fold in terms of the sectors covered (ie EVS and higher education), and the target audience (ie. incoming and outgoing young people).

The event that was held in collaboration with Nau and gathered missions of different European countries with incoming and outgoing students as well as with reps of higher education institutions. The event is the first celebration event held in Turkey.The event was held in the Anatolian Civilizations Museum on March 30, 2017 as part of the 30th Anniversary Campaign of the Erasmus+ Programme. Representatives of the EU Delegation to Turkey, representatives of foreign missions, representatives of higher education institutions, Erasmus students and press members participated in the event. After the screening of video which compiled from incoming Erasmus students' videos to Turkey, the "Erasmus + in Turkey" event opened with the official speeches by Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey and by Undersecretary of the Ministry for European Union (NAu). Incoming students and volunteers from different regions will meet in Konya and attend a class in a higher education institution. A meeting for reps of major production companies and hşghjer education institutions in Konya will be organized simultaneously.
