    Lokaviðmið námsleiðar eru sett fram samkvæmt viðmiðum um æðri menntun og prófgráður sem menntamálaráðuneytið gaf út árið 2011 samkvæmt lögum nr. 63/2006. Að námi loknu eiga nemendur að uppfylla eftirfarandi viðmið samkvæmt þeim námsárangri sem fram kemur í útskriftarskírteini og skírteinisviðauka. Þekking  Nemandi hafi öðlast þjálfun í fræðilegum og hagnýtum þáttum sem snúa að úrlausn lögfræðilegra álitaefna í tengslum við viðskiptagjörninga sem og í lögfræði- og ráðgjafarstörfum.  Nemandi hafi aukið, dýpkað og tileinkað sér ákveðna sérþekkingu á sviði viðskiptalögfræði sem byggist á nýjustu upplýsingum og rannsóknum.  Nemandi þekki og skilji alla helstu þætti er viðkoma rekstri fyrirtækja á lagalegum grundvelli og átti sig á mikilvægi ábyrgra og heiðarlegra viðskiptahátta. Að auki skal nemandi sem lýkur ML gráðu með meistararitgerð:  Hafa aflað sér þekkingar með rannsókn, kynningu og vörn á eigin rannsóknarefni.  Nemandi skilji mikilvægi faglegra og vandaðra vinnubragða í rannsóknum. Hæfni  Nemandi geti tekið sjálfstæðar, faglegar ákvarðanir og rökstutt þær á lögfræðilegum grunni.  Nemandi hafi öðlast hæfni til að skrifa lagalegan texta sem nýtist honum í starfi.  Nemandi geti rökrætt og tjáð sig með skýrum hætti um lagaleg úrlausnarefni á faglegan máta, hvort heldur sem er á opinberum eða fræðilegum vettvangi, og komið fram með lausn í samræmi við viðurkenndar kenningar og aðferðafræði.   2. BS í viðskiptalögfræði

    Lærdómsviðmið námsleiðar eru sett fram samkvæmt viðmiðum Mennta og menningarmálaráðuneytisins um æðri menntun og prófgráður 530/2011. Að námi loknu eiga nemendur að uppfylla eftirfarandi viðmið samkvæmt þeim námsárangri sem fram kemur í útskriftarskírteini og skírteinisviðauka. Þekking og skilningur Nemandinn skal tileinka sér almennan skilning á kenningum, forsendum, hugtökum og aðferðum á sviði lögfræði og viðskiptafræði. Námið er á þessu stigi einkum miðað að því að auka skilning nemenda á rekstri fyrirtækja og hæfni þeirra til að leysa úr þeim lögfræðilegu viðfangsefnum sem bíða að námi loknu. Þá skal nemandinn geta nýtt þekkingu sína og skilning við fræðilega iðju eða innan starfsgreinar og búa yfir hæfni til þekkingaröflunar á sviði viðskiptalögfræði, ásamt því að geta rökstutt fræðilegar úrlausnir. Tegund þekkingar Nemandinn á að loknu námi að hafa tileinkað sér víðtæka þekkingu og skilning á lögfræði, ásamt því að hafa góða innsýn í viðskiptafræði. Þekking nemandans skal ná til nýjustu þekkingar á fræðasviðinu hverju sinni. Hagnýt þekking Nemandinn á að loknu námi að geta greint hagnýt, flókin viðfangsefni í faglegu samhengi og geta tekið og réttlætt ákvarðanir á faglegum grunni. Jafnframt skal hann geta unnið sjálfstætt og skipulega að viðfangsefnum í viðskiptalögfræði, geta sett sér markmið, gert starfsáætlun og fylgt henni.     Knowledge, ability and skillsAt the conclusion of the program, the student can demonstrate knowledge, skills and ability as stated below:Knowledge and Understanding: On completion of the LL.M. in Polar Law, the student shall: Be able to explain the legal frameworks and other standard-setting and norm-enforcing systems, and the major issues in law and related disciplines pertaining to the Polar regions. Be able to describe the interests and concerns of the peoples who live or otherwise secure their livelihood in the Polar regions, expressing sensitivity to the different interests of different groups. Be able to explain the legal responses to disputes and tensions pertaining to the different interests in the Polar regions, with particular regard to human rights, governance, self-determination, the environment, law of the sea, transport and security, and dispute settlement. Type of Knowledge: On completion of the LL.M. in Polar Law, the student shall: Be able to explain contemporary issues in Polar law both theoretically and practically, taking into account the most recent developments in law and the most recent academic literature. Have knowledge and understanding of the main aspects of Icelandic law, especially regarding sources of law and interpretation of legal sources. Have a systematic understanding of contemporary Icelandic law. Possess understanding taking into account the most recent developments in law and the most recent academic literature.
