    Those who have completed the qualification may work as boat-builders in boat-building and boat-repair shops and boatyards. Boat-building comprises boat manufacturers, boatyards, boat design, boat repairs and manufacturing and sales of supplies as well as boat sales. Boat-building shops specialise in glass-fibre reinforced plastic as well as wooden and metal boats. Boat-building enterprises are generally small or medium-sized. Work assignments are extensive in small enterprises and more specialised in large companies. Those who have completed the Vocational Qualification in Boat-building have common basic skills in boat-building and specialised competence in at least one sector. They are able to take the safety requirements of boats into account and they know how to perform boat-building assignments that require handicraft skills. Boat-builders who have completed the Study Programme/Competence Area in Boat-building know how to laminate and perform joinery work as well as simple machinery and equipment installations.     Leipää, kakkuja, koristeita, suklaata! Leipuri-kondiittorin osaamisala on yksi suosituimmista Omnian koulutuksista. Leipuri-kondiittorin osaamisala sijoittuu elintarvikealan perustutkintoon, joten koulutuksen aluksi opitaan elintarviketuotannon sekä teollisuuden elintarvikeprosessien perusasiat. Tutuksi tulevat teollinen leipomotuotanto sekä ruokaleipä-, kahvileipä-, leipomoeines- sekä konditoriaprosessit. Kaikki leipuri-kondiittorit oppivat valmistamaan ruokaleipää, kahvileipää, täytekakkuja ja leivoksia. Myös perusruoanvalmistus ja erikoisruokavaliot kuuluvat opintoihin. Omnian tarjoamien valinnaisten opintojen kautta osaamistaan voi suunnata myös esimerkiksi pakkaustoimintoihin, varastointi- ja lähettämötoimintoihin tai elintarvikkeiden myymälätoimintoihin. Valinnaisiin tutkinnon osiin kuuluu myös erikoistuotteiden kuten koristeiden, konvehtien ja karamellien valmistus. Opiskelu on hyvin käytännönläheistä. Atk-luokkaan toki piipahdetaan välillä suunnittelemaan. Espoon keskuksen kampuksella Lakelankadulla on iso leipomo, jossa opiskelijat esimerkiksi valmistavat päivittäin kaikki henkilöstöravintola Herkussa tarjottavat leivät. Oppilaitoksen leipomossa opiskelijat viihtyvät pitkiäkin päiviä. Työssäoppimista kertyy opiskeluaikana vähintään 30 opintoviikon verran. Opiskelijalle tehdään henkilökohtainen opiskelusuunnitelma, ja tutkinto rakennetaan joustavasti jokaiselle opiskelijalle sopivaksi. Erityistä tukea tarvitseville opiskelijoille voidaan järjestää pienryhmäopetusta. ...
