    Definition A three to four-year theoretical and practical research-based postgraduate programme of studies in biochemistry at the Faculty of Physical Sciences, University of Iceland. The programme provides 180 to 240 ECTS units of credit and qualifies for the degree of philosophiae doctor, PhD. Entrance requirements are a research-based MS-degree or a comparable qualification or alternatively. The scope of the research project shall be 180 ECTS units.
