Introductory Direction for Health and Welfare Units: The Curriculum of the Introductory Direction for the Administration of Health and Welfare Units combines the following: a) subjects aimed at the analysis of the units (organizations and institutions) of public and private sector in Health and Welfare, b) subjects that offer specific knowledge on the provision of health services and welfare by Health and Social Protection Systems - Social inclusion, and c) subjects with a clear orientation to policies, use of resources, and meeting the needs of recipients. Skills of a Graduate of the AHWU: Upon completion of their studies, students of the Introductory Direction of AHWU a) Have advanced knowledge of their various cognitive fields of study, involving a critical understanding of theories and principles; b) possess advanced skills, combine understanding with application, having the required skill and innovation to solve complex and unpredictable problems in specialized fields of study and work; c. develop problem solving skills, transferring the knowledge received and the skills obtained about decision-making and managing workgroups in health and welfare services.Upon completion of their studies, graduates of the Introductory Direction of AHWU acquire the necessary scientific and technological knowledge, abilities and skills to be able to operate as an administration-management executives of health and welfare services, particularly in the following areas:- Organisation, operation and coordination of activities of ...
