Course Information

Environmental Management is a special form of management which concentrates on the guarantee of sustainable production and behaviour of organisations. The discipline Environmental Management and Engineering in Austria consists of the subject areas Forest and Soil Sciences, Land and Water Management, Mountain Risk Engineering and Environmental and (Bio)Resources Management.
Students can study part of the programme in Austria or at the Pakistan-Austrian University (PAU) in Lahore. Courses from the modules of “Introduction and Case Studies“, “Environmental Engineering“, “Sustainable Development“, “Risk Management“ and “International Business and Sustainability“ are compulsory. The preparation of the master’s thesis, which must be written in English, and the preparation of the defence of the thesis take place in the framework of a special master’s seminar.
