    On completion of study the following criteria shall be fulfilled: Knowledge and understanding - Possess a general understanding of theories, criteria, concepts and methods in the field of basic school teaching, development and the social position of children, knowledge-based premises of subjects and their mediation.- Can apply their knowledge and understanding in child nurture and guidance, teaching and material creation, have competences to sustain theoretical and practical solutions or paths in those matters.- Have adopted extensive knowledge and understanding of one school subject and its teaching, or a general understanding of more school subjects.
