The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

  2. Ergonoom, tase 7

    Ergonoomi töö eesmärk on ennetada tööga seotud haigestumisi ja tööõnnetusi ning säilitada ja edendada töötaja tervist ja töövõimet, tagada töötaja heaolu ning tõsta tootlikkust. Ergonoom on spetsialist, kes aitab kaasa tervisliku ja ohutu töökeskkonna loomisele. Ta tuvastab töökeskkonna ohutegurid ja mõõdab ise või korraldab ohutegurite parameetrite mõõtmised. Ta hindab töökeskkonna füüsikaliste ja füsioloogiliste ohutegurite võimalikku mõju töötajate tervisele ning nõustab tööandjaid ja töötajaid tervist säästvate töötingimuste loomises. Ergonoom osaleb nõustajana uute toodete disainimises.     - to study theoretical courses on labour protection including knowledge of working and surrounding environment risk factors, the identification and assessment methods, analysis of environment objects and ecosystem, chemical toxicology, radioecology, workplace ergonomics and psychology, occupational health system organization, control and expertise according to laws and rules of Republic of Latvia as well as European Union, - to apply obtained knowledge for independent research in the selected area and to prepare the scientific publications; - to carry out independent research in the selected area of labour protection and risk assessment, summarizing general conclusions in the master’s thesis (20 credit points).
