    The Master in Mathematics is a flexible high-standard curriculum that is close to the real needs of the students and the job market. Devoted to excellence, it offers a great variety of advanced courses enabling the student to choose from four career-driven options. During the first two semesters, the student has the possibility to deepen essential modern mathematical skills and start specialising via optional activities. In the third and fourth semesters, the Master offers exclusively specialized courses. The great variety of advanced activities enables the student to organize his studies according to his longterm career goals and to acquire 60 ECTS within one of three career-driven directions: Financial Mathematics, Industrial Mathematics and Pure Mathematics. Graduates are able to work collaboratively and professionally in all mathematics related positions.   2. Master in Condensed Matter Physics (académique)

    This Master enables students to acquire a solid and broad education in the domain of condensed matter physics. The goal in this field is to explain and predict the physical properties of materials ranging from semiconductors to cell membranes, based on their microscopic constituents. Students will be introduced to current research topics during the four semesters of the masters.  Hands-on lab activities will immediately introduce them to live research and give them a hint at how it is run at the University’s Physics and Materials Science Research Unit (PHYMS). The first year consists of lectures, seminars, and laboratory classes, whereas the complete second year is exclusively spend on the students' research project. They will carry out their research thesis in one of the four clusters of the Physics and Materials Science Research Unit: Magnetic and Multiferroic Materials Soft and Living Matter Photovoltaics and Semiconductor Physics Theory and Materials Modelling   Small teaching groups are organised to let you tackle theory and practice with academics who are recognised as high quality researchers by their international peers.   ...

  3. Master en Enseignement Secondaire- Mathématiques (professionnel)

    The "Master en enseignement secondaire" prepares students to become highly qualified teaching professionals in the Luxembourg school system. Students are enabled to deepen their knowledge in the respective fields and develop the skills needed for teaching in classroom settings. The programme is specially designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. In addition to courses in the core subject areas, the curriculum includes classes in educational sciences, educational sociology and psychology to provide students with the necessary skills to understand and face the challenges of teaching and learning in a multicultural and multilingual school system.
