The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

    Type of qualification This qualification is a advanced vocational training governed by federal state law at a trade and technical school. Trade and technical schools are continuing training institutions which impart recognised vocational qualifications governed by federal state law in various organisational forms (full-time or part-time basis).  They qualify workers to take on higher-level skilled work and middle-level and senior level leadership and management tasks in functional areas which are also knowledge and practice oriented.  Curricula build on the knowledge and competences imparted during initial vocational education and training and on the experiences gained from several years of professional activity and are closely aligned to company practice and current related technical disciplines. Duration of continuing training is 2 or 3 years (correspondingly longer if completed on a part-time basis). Those completing the qualification are in possession of competences for the planning, processing and evaluation of comprehensive professional tasks and problems and of competences for autonomous management of processes in sub-areas of a technical specialism or in a field of occupational activity. They are in a position to reflect upon their own actions, take on management tasks and enter professional self-employment.   4. Schädlingsbekämpfer/Schädlingsbekämpferin

    Type of qualification This qualification is a dual vocational education and training (3-year and 3½-year training course). The vocational education and training system is highly significant in Germany. Central importance in this regard is attached to training within the dual system, which facilitates access to many areas of occupational activity for which in other countries training at an institute of higher education is required. The system is described as “dual” because training is conducted at two independent training venues, the company and the vocational school. Training combines the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practically related competences with company practice. Successful completion of training confers the right directly to exercise the occupation in question as a qualified skilled worker in a state recognised training occupation. It also leads to the subsequent opportunity to access a wide range of upgrading training.     1. Deelnemen aan het ontwikkelen, plannen en uitvoeren van toegepast onderzoek met betrekking tot veiligheid, milieubeleid en technologie, vertrekkend van een afgebakende opdracht (risicosituatie) en hierover verslag uitbrengen aan vakgenoten en leken (conceptueel denken). 2.     De leerresultaten van de Master of Science in de ziekenhuishygiëne bouwen voort op deze van de Master of Medicine in de Geneeskunde. Medisch deskundige: 1. Een grondige kennis van en inzicht in bezitten in infectieziekten- en bronnen, preventiemaatregelen voor infecties en epidemieën en antimicrobiële middelen. Medisch deskundige/gezondheidspromotor: 2.     1. De afgestudeerden van de master in de Veiligheidswetenschappen zullen de volgende leerresultaten beheersen: 2. De afgestudeerde kent de verschillende veiligheidstheorieën, waaronder de – op de schadetheorie geënte - interdisciplinaire veiligheidstheorie van Viaene. Hij/zij kan deze theorieën situeren, kaderen en toepassen op de vijf domeinen van veiligheid. 3.
