The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

    The Programme provides critical approaches to culture and follows historic transformations over time, aiming to provide knowledge about the far neighbours of Greece with regard to the institutions and social organization, and mainly the actions, the memories, and the experiences of individuals in their everyday life.  The programme aims to establish an academic paradigm of extroversion on issues of teaching and research for the regions of East Europe, of the Balkans, and of the Mediterranean.  This includes networking - collaborations - exchanges with Universities of the Central and Southeast Europe: Graz (Austria), Cluj (Romania), Novi Sad (Serbia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Zagreb (Croatia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Regensburg (Germany).
