    Aim(s) of a study programme: The aim of the study programme of Spanish Philology is to prepare highly qualified specialists in Spanish Philology, to provide students with a firm basis in linguistics and literature, with a strong proficiency in Spanish (C1-C2), with a proper understanding of the culture of the Hispanic countries, with the capacity to analyse and evaluate the Spanish language and literature in the broader context of worldwide linguistics and literature, in addition to teach them to think critically, to learn independently and to work collectively in a multicultural environment.   4. Language for specific (legal) purposes

    Objective(s) of the study programme: The programme aims at training highly qualified philologists who would be sufficiently knowledgeable and/or have skills in law, linguistics and, specifically, theory and practice of legal language, have a good command of legal foreign language (English/German) and of Lithuanian, capable of dealing with legal texts of different genres in English/German and Lithuanian, responsible, capable to work autonomously and in a team, to think critically, to solve theoretical and practical problems and conduct interdisciplinary research and research in one’s own professional field and thus meet the requirements of modern society.
