The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

    Raudtee liikluskorraldaja, tase 6 tööks on raudteeinfrastruktuuri-ettevõtte raudteeliiklus-alase töö korraldamine rongitöö ööpäevaplaan-graafiku alusel, rongiliikluse informatsiooni vahetamine teiste raudteeadministratsioonidega ja raudteeinfrastruktuuri kasutavate raudteeveo-ettevõtjatega ning liikluskorraldajate tegevuse kontrollimine. 6. taseme raudtee liikluskorraldaja töötab iseseisvalt keerulistest ja ettearvamatutes olukordades ja vastutab töörühmade töö eest. Ta on võimeline edasi andma oma kutsealaseid oskusi ja teadmisi, juhendama praktikante ja teisi töötajaid. 6. taseme raudtee liikluskorraldaja töötab meeskonnas, suhtleb pidevalt kolleegide ja klientidega. Ta peab järgima üldtunnustatud suhtlemis- ja töökultuuri põhimõtteid. Oma töökohustuste täitmisel tugineb ta ettevõtte väärtustele, käitub moraalselt ja heast tavast lähtuvalt ning hoidub enda ja ettevõtte mainet kahjustavatest tegudest. Trade and technical schools are continuing training institutions which impart recognised vocational qualifications governed by federal state law in various organisational forms (full-time or part-time basis).  They qualify workers to take on higher-level skilled work and middle-level and senior level leadership and management tasks in functional areas which are also knowledge and practice oriented.  Curricula build on the knowledge and competences imparted during initial vocational education and training and on the experiences gained from several years of professional activity and are closely aligned to company practice and current related technical disciplines.     A képzés célja olyan hivatásos repülőgép-vezetők képzése, akik ismerik a légiközlekedést, alkalmasak a repülőgépeket üzemeltető vállalkozásoknál, szervezeteknél a hivatásos repülőgép-vezetői tevékenység ellátására, a légiüzemeltetéssel (air operation), a földi kiszolgálással (ground handling) és a szállítási feladatok szervezésével, megoldásával kapcsolatos, valamint a vonatkozó minőségbiztosítási teendők végzésére.
