    Študij traja 3 leta in obsega 180 kreditnih točk po ECTS. Temeljni cilj študijskega programa je usposobiti kandidata za samostojno mednarodno konkurenčno znanstveno raziskovalno delo na področju vseh gibalnih aktivnosti in njihovega pomena za človekov razvoj in zdravje.     Študij traja 3 leta in obsega 180 kreditnih točk po ECTS.     Definition A three-year theoretical graduate education program (research oriented) in tourism studies at the Faculty of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Iceland. It provides at least 180 ECTS units of credit and qualifies for the degree philosophiae doctor, PhD. Entrance requirements are a research oriented MS degree in tourism studies or compatible disciplines, or compatible exams. The scope of the research projects must be 180 ECTS units. Doctoral education follows specific faculty rules.
