The studies of Veterinary Medicine include a foreign language, information technologies, work and civil security, animal anatomy and physiology, animal welfare and zoo hygiene, applied ethology, apiculture and bee diseases, animal fodder, clinical diagnostics, midwifery and gynecology, surgery, microbiology and epizootology, internal non-infectious diseases, etc.
Practical studies consist of seven stages: animal anatomy and pathology, pharmacology, surgery and midwifery, epizootology and internal non-infectious diseases, veterinary sanitary expertise, branch and final practical trainings. The duration of practical studies is 27 weeks. The studies consolidate and improve the skills of big and small animal maintenance and security, disease diagnosis and treatment (under a veterinary doctor's supervision), pharmaceutical activity, veterinary sanitary expertise, organization of veterinary service, etc.
The study programme of Veterinary Medicine aims at the entrants having secondary education and seeking to become specialists of Veterinary Medicine.
