Course Information

The study content of the Division of Crop Production covers the subject matter of agriculture related to the production of agricultural products with an emphasis on field crops and horticulture. At the same time, during their studies, students are taught elective courses on agro-economics in order to obtain a contemporary perspective on the subject of growing plants and trees, the management of agricultural products, protection and genetic development of agricultural production, and production of reproductive material. The study content of the Division of Animal Production concerns the students’ acquisition of all the necessary technical and scientific knowledge and skills for the implementation of the latest technological and scientific methods and administrative practices in animal production , hygiene and productivity of livestock, genetic development, and processing and quality control of animal products. The study content of the Division of Agricultural Economics is the study and research of the economic aspect of farming. Graduates of this Direction are equipped with knowledge on specific sectors of the rural economy, such as the organization and management of agricultural enterprises, advertising and marketing of agricultural products, and the agricultural policy of our country and the European Union. The study content of the Division of Quality Control of Agricultural Products concerns the students’ acquisition of all the necessary qualified technical and scientific knowledge and skills for study, research and application of technology on modern and specific sectors such as preservation, manufacturing, standardization , sanitary control of agricultural products and in general all those processes that contribute to the development and promotion of marketing of agricultural products and ensure their quality .
