Technical Physics (E)

Course Information

In addition to a sound education in physics and mathematics the degree programme also offers practice-oriented subjects that are close to technology and application-oriented computer methods. The imparting of knowledge in business administration and of social skills rounds off the degree programme.
Students have to pass examinations in the following areas:
- Compulsory module A: Statistical and Computational Physics
- Compulsory module B: Advanced Quantum Mechanics and Atom Physics
- Compulsory module C: Advanced Solid State Physics and Radiation Physics
- Compulsory module D: Business and Entrepreneurship
- 3 physical specialisation modules (9 ECTS credits each)
- General elective module
- Optional subject
- Master’s seminar
- Master’s thesis and master’s examination
