Course Information

The joint master's programme "International Master in Sustainable Materials" is aimed at enhancing scientific professional education and at providing a scientific supplement in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation following a predominantly technically oriented bachelor's programme. In particular, the course aims to combine the discipline of metallurgy with the discipline of entrepreneurship, which is frequently in demand today. The desire for greater internationalisation and cross-linking is also taken into account.
Scientific enhancement of the knowledge in the following disciplines:
• Characterization
• Ceramics
• Downstream Metallurgy
• Simulation & Modelling
• Metallurgy & Recycling
• Sustainability, Entrepreneurship & Innovation

In order to test and apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the joint study programme in a practice-oriented manner students have to complete a subject-relevant mandatory internship geared to the content of the study programme with a workload of 20 working days at a suitable institution.
