Course Information

The discipline Social Work, Social Policy & Management deals with the resolution of social problems by means of action strategies and methods on the regional and social level before the background of a far-reaching social structural change.
The master’s programme lasts four semesters and includes the following subjects: Social Work & Microintervention (problem and resources analysis, implementation of help), Social Work Research (applied research methods, current research & development), Social Work & Social Policy (Transition & change in the general social conditions of social work, Social work in the public area), Social work & Management (Finance, leadership skills, project and quality management). Students have the possibility to study a semester at one of the numerous partner universities abroad. A master’s thesis must be written. The programme concludes with a degree examination.
