Qualification Information

Students will be able to:

(general competences)

  • demonstrate familiarity with and understanding of the history of the development of legal disciplines and other disciplines from the interdisciplinary field of immovable property management,

  • place new information and interpretations in the context of development of the profession in the fields of law and infrastructure and immovable property management,
  • develop skills and expertise in the application of knowledge in the field of infrastructure and immovable property,

  • demonstrate understanding and mastery of legal knowledge that is closely related to the fields of infrastructure, immovable property, ownership, the economy, the environment, etc.,
  • demonstrate understanding of the concept of immovable property in the sense of the integration of social science, humanities and engineering disciplines,
  • analyse, synthesise and envisage solutions and the consequences of phenomena in conditions of international legal transactions in the immovable property field,
  • demonstrate understanding of the urban planning and architectural principles of immovable property environment and interdisciplinary thinking in the case of investment planning,
  • apply techniques and methods of project management in a practical case,
  • use economic tools for business decisions,
  • apply interdisciplinary knowledge in unpredictable immovable property and business situations,
  • critically select principles for addressing specific work problems within an immovable property environment.

In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme.

  • Matura or
  • vocational matura in any four-year secondary school programme; or
  • school-leaving examination (prior to 1 June 1995) under any four-year secondary school programme.

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Five Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
