Qualification Information

There has been acquired the basic and specialized knowledge in the spheres related to mechanics, electromechanics, electronics, and computer engineering that is evidenced by critically assessing awareness of the gained knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice, demonstrating professional competence of a mechatronics engineer in the process of elaboration and projection of automation algorithms and possible automation versions of a technical process;

- through professional practice, presenting study papers and the results of professional practice and elaborating and defending an engineering project, there has been developed professional and research competence in the spheres of mechanics, electromechanics, electronics and computer engineering.

1. To understand the stages of design documentation development.
2. To understand the interaction of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and computer equipment.
3. To carry out a professional analysis of the work task, information processing and alignment of the work task with the technological possibilities of manufacturing.
4.,To observe the relevant laws and regulations, technical documentation and standards governing the field of mechatronics when drawing up business documents.
5. To analyse, evaluate and make use of scientific and applied research, utilize information search and selection tools, introduce new technologies and software.
6. To be able to predict a trouble-free operation of mechanical, electrical, electronic and computer equipment.
7. To purposefully use the possibilities of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic and computer equipment purposefully and arrange for maintenance thereof.
8. To rationally organize the execution of inter-related work processes rationally.
9. To design the layout of all automated or installed equipment and organize the division of labour among workers.
10. To be able to select documents required for the automation process (hydraulic and pneumatic system components, electrical and optical elements, etc.).
11. To use computer-aided design and computer-based manufacturing (CAD / CAM) technology to develop a design.
12. To prepare materials for the presentation of the automation project.
13. To participate in project analysis, development, harmonization and management.
14. To observe the labour protection, fire safety and environmental protection requirements.
15. To use professional terminology in the official language and at least two foreign languages.
16. To have a good command of the official language.
17. To have a good command of at least two foreign languages at the communication level.
