Qualification Information

Graduates will have furthered their interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of international relations and gained thorough knowledge of the international community, which increasingly influences internal social, political and technological processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in political science (international relations stream); or
  • a degree in political science from other streams (differential examinations are defined individually for graduates; candidates generally lack knowledge in the undergraduate subjects of International Relations, International Economic Relations, Politics of International Law and International Organisations),

Additional conditions for enrolment:

  • knowledge of two world languages (knowledge of one world language may be substituted by knowledge of German, Italian or Hungarian, in which case the world language must be English).

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
