Course Information

Physicists explore the characteristics of the world and the universe and refer to them to formulate the laws of nature, the most fundamental descriptions of reality. This makes them universal problem solvers. You will develop the analytical properties needed to meet key challenges in scientific, economic, and industrial fields by working with experimental, theoretical, and computer-based methods.
Students have to complete courses in the following areas:
- Compulsory module G: General Physics
- Compulsory module M: Preparation for the master’s thesis
- 5 specialisation modules (9 ECTS credits each)
- General elective module (elective topics)
- Free-choice subject
- Master’s thesis and master's examination
