Future odontologists’ assistants study internal diseases and their prophylaxis, nursing fundamentals, odontological equipment and materials, odontological radiology, oral health, therapeutic odontological help, orthopaedic odontology, periodontology, oral diseases, surgical odontological help, odontological help for children, etc.
Practical studies are conducted in four stages: oral health and individual hygiene training, nursing, therapeutic odontology and final practice. The duration of practical studies is 25 weeks. During studies, the skills required to work with information technology equipment, provide first aid and odontological help, nurse, etc., are consolidated and improved.
The odontological care study programme is designed for people who have secondary general education and aspire to be odontologists’ assistants.
