A network of centres linking together the Careers Guidance systems in Europe euroguidance promotes mobility, helping guidance counsellors and individuals to better understand the opportunities available to European citizens throughout Europe.
The first cycle degree in Mathematics provides basic knowledge in several areas of mathematics (including Mathematical Analysis, Algebra, Geometry and Numerical Analysis) as well as their interactions and applications to related areas. This degree enables students to have access to any graduate program (2nd cycle) in Mathematics, either directed to research, education, public services or the private sector.

The Faculty of Sciences is now one of the 18 faculties and institutes belonging to the University of Lisbon, following the recent merger between the classical University of Lisbon and the Technical University of Lisbon.
The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon was established by decree of 19th April 1911. From its establishment until 1985, the year the Faculty was transferred to the new facilities at Campo Grande, the Faculty of Sciences was based in the building where the Polytechnic School (Escola Politécnica) used to be. Before this School, since the beginning of the 17th century, other cultural and scientific preeminent institutions were settled there. In addition to this common tradition, the Faculty of Sciences has inherited the scientific, historical and cultural characteristics of its predecessors.

There are 19 Student Residences, for accommodation of students of the Universidade de Lisboa, in the degrees of Bachelor and Master, which need to be away from their household for attendance of academic activities. The total accommodation capacity is 1023 beds, 645 for female students and 373 for male students. These beds are distributed through 496 rooms, of which 311 are doubles, 107 are triples and 78 are singles.
The University Stadium of Lisboa is an excellent locality for engaging in physical activity and sports and, given its Higher Educational environment, it stands to reason that the stadium would try and cultivate scientific knowledge, particularly in the field of physical activity and sports.
There is a study centre for students in Lisbon, Ágora, near the Tagus River and not far from de Cais do Sodré railway station. This centre has study rooms, graphic design services, computers and a bar.
