Learning Opportunity: Master's Programme in Molecular Biology

Master's Programme in Molecular Biology

Course Information

The master programme in molecular biology provides the candidate with solid and advanced understanding of current topics within this discipline. We conduct research on important biomolecules and their roles in the various life processes including diseases. The candidate can choose a research project among the areas of protein structure and function relationship, signal transduction and regulation in biological systems, and biological computation and bioinformatics . The research project is often part of a larger project where the candidate collaborates in groups with researchers. Through project work the student will learn how to work both independently and collaboratively in the laboratory. The candidate will learn to evaluate own results in relation to the hypothesis being tested. In addition, the candidate will develop skills to present own results, both orally and in writing.
