Qualification Information

The objectives of the study programme:
To train highly qualified and competitive healthcare professionals in the multiprofessional field of rehabilitation who would be able to organise, coordinate and provide evidence-based rehabilitation services, carry out research and successfully integrate themselves in the academic environment.

Knowledge:
- knowledge of the organisation of health care and current development tendencies;
- understand, compare and critically evaluate the different theories of rehabilitation, concepts and current development tendencies;
- understand the multiprofessional nature of rehabilitation;
- understanding of the dynamics of the restrictions of functional limitations and their consequences at various levels (individual, group, society), as well as their significance within the context of public health;
- comprehension of stages, course, dynamics and outcomes of the rehabilitation process at various levels (individual, group, society);
- comprehension of research process and specific methods in rehabilitation;
- understanding of the need for constant improvement and development of your own professional growth and qualification;

Skills:
- to analyse the specific features of your profession or organisation, necessities and resources within the context of rehabilitation and health care;
- to apply appropriate assessment methods, record and analyse the results, plan and manage the rehabilitation process (for individuals and groups);
- follow to the innovations in the field, learn and apply the new methods in the particular professional field;
- collect and analyse the results of practise, share knowledge and facilitate development of particular profession and rehabilitation field;
- to inform and educate the society (individuals and groups) about rehabilitation methods and services to reduce the consequences of functional limitations and improve health;

Competences:
- to plan and achieve research according to the principles in rehabilitation with comprehension and recognition of consequences for actions regarding individual and society;
- to plan and organise new evidence-based efficient rehabilitation services;
- to plan, administer and lead the rehabilitation process according to particular professional competence, comprehension of specific for particular work environment;
- follow to ethical guidelines in professional work and recognize the consequences for actions regarding individual and society;
- administer the documentation related to professional activities;
- organize the documentation related to professional activities, follow to legal aspects of employment and safety rules.
