During the guidance process, the candidate prepares a portfolio. The relevant committee assesses the portfolio and validates catalogue content in part or full. If the committee is unable to recognise all catalogue content, it assigns tasks to the candidate for verification.
Practical verification in the field with an oral presentation of theoretical contents.
Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.
- At least elementary school, with two years of work experience in the field of water regulation,
- a successfully passed examination on safe operation of a chainsaw,
- swimming proficiency test (Candidates must attain Proficiency level 5 – Swimmer: Jump into the water feet first, swim for 25 metres in one direction, turn round while swimming and swim towards the finish, making a total of 50 metres. While swimming the second 25 metres the swimmer will stop in the middle of the pool and perform a safety exercise – from a chest-down position move through the upright position to a chest-up position – and then continue swimming to the finish).
Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant database of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
