FORENSICS (FORENZIKA) is an one-year Specialist programme (60ECTS) of applied studies offered by the Faculty of Physical Chemistry in Belgrade.

Study program Specialist professional studies “Forensics” consists of three mandatory courses:

Legal bases of forensics,

Introduction to forensics,

Forensics physicochemical analysis

and three optional courses (student has to choose one):

DNA analysis,

Documentation technique and

Forensics methodology.

Teaching is interactive and performed through lectures, discussions, seminars, presentations and solving problems. Students are working on their final thesis during both semesters. The aim of the study program is to provide extended knowledge in forensics physical chemistry and enable students to perform specialized jobs and tasks in agencies and institutions of security and protection.

Access requirements: 

As a general requirement, to enter a Specialized programme the candidate has to have obtained a Bachelor diploma with 180 ECTS points.
Specific admission prerequisites usually entail specific knowledge in certain disciplines and should be checked at the institution’s website for each individual programme a student is interested in.
