A network of centres linking together the Careers Guidance systems in Europe euroguidance promotes mobility, helping guidance counsellors and individuals to better understand the opportunities available to European citizens throughout Europe.
East European Studies Online provides its students with knowledge of Eastern Europe. The advanced graduate degree program teaches the necessary skills for employment by public and private organizations in or concerning the region and also for further scientific work.
The duration amounts to two years.
A prior university degree (B.A., M.A., Diploma, state examination etc.), peferably this degree has been obtained in Humanities or Social Sciences (including Law and Economics). Participants have to be fluent in English. In addition, basic knowledge of at least one East European language should exist - yet this linguistic proficiency can be developed during the duration of the program. Participants must have adequate electronic equipment at their disposal that is able to deal with various multimedia material. Internet access and a personal email account are mandatory.
Tuition fees amount to 5,950.00 € per year of study plus the regular registration fees of Freie Universität Berlin, which currently amounts to 117,40 € per year. Tuition fees for the four-year part-time program amount to 3,225.00 € plus 117,40 € per year. Costs arising from the in-house classes must be paid by the students themselves (travel expenses, room and board).
The complete Online Master program accounts for 120 ECTS credits.
