Qualification Information

Students will be able to: 

  • analyse, synthesise and envisage solutions and consequences,
  • demonstrate mastery of research methods, procedures and processes in animal husbandry,
  • perform critical and self-critical assessment,
  • apply knowledge in practice,
  • demonstrate knowledge in the area of development of the profession,
  • demonstrate knowledge related to using information and communication technologies and systems in the area of animal husbandry.

Students complete their studies when they have passed all the required examinations or have completed at least 180 credits, and have successfully defended their diploma thesis.

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical classes and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, presentations, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
