A network of centres linking together the Careers Guidance systems in Europe euroguidance promotes mobility, helping guidance counsellors and individuals to better understand the opportunities available to European citizens throughout Europe.
The 1st Cycle in Biochemistry provides a solid background, which may later be complemented with a 2nd cycle of studies. Biochemistry means the “Chemistry of Life” and is placed between chemistry and biology. It includes core courses in both of these areas, and also in the areas of mathematics and computing. Alongside the acquisition of knowledge, the degree also allows students to develop of laboratory skills, as well as other generic skills, such as aptitude for team work, transmission of knowledge, problem solving / autonomous learning. Throughout the degree, students are encouraged to take part in ongoing research at UMa and also in exchange programs with students of other universities, preparing them for placement in a global labour market.
