The National Qualifications Registry of Greece is a special software application (Database) that will include the qualifications classified in the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and referenced to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Upon successful completion of the program students will be able to:
Have proven knowledge and understanding (theoretical and practical) of business and organizations management and how they are managed.
Have a critical ability to understand the importance of business management and complexity of the Greek and international competitive environment. They develop and implement research and learning skills in academic and organizational level and evaluate methods of solving organizational problems of both the private and public sector.
Recognize and consider the ethical dimensions of enterprises and organizations and the importance of corporate social responsibility.
Understand and evaluate the scope of financial and management accounting, finance, computing, integrated information systems and Marketing for business executives.
Are able to use their knowledge and to approach entrepreneurship through critical and practical thinking, and to apply it at both national and international level.
Understand the importance of innovation and try to apply it as a means of competitive advantage acquisition.
Perceive and understand the information technology, the importance of supply chain management and information management systems.
Obtain detailed and advanced knowledge, through critical thinking and ability, in the fields of Business Administration, Marketing, and Management Information Systems, depending on personal needs and choices of each student, as well as develop knowledge acquisition skills needed to continue to further studies with a greater degree of autonomy. They also acquire knowledge, understanding and critical thinking of mathematics, statistics and scientific research methods.
1. Direction of Business Administration:
Understanding of business management and of practices for management of changes.
Understanding of current issues and developments in human resources management and its relationship with strategic management.
Knowledge and understanding of the modern theory of strategic management and of the analytical tools needed to solve strategic problems.
Knowledge and practice of operational planning processes.
Application of financial models using Excel.
Familiarity with the concept of leadership in an international context and investigation of the importance of the working group within an organization.
Knowledge and application of accounting, cost accounting and performance measurement systems in business. Critical understanding of theories of business management.
2. Direction of Management Information Systems:
Knowledge and understanding of IT items such as operating systems, structured programming, object-oriented design and programming, visual programming and analysis and design of algorithms.
Familiarity with data structures, information management on the Internet and on computer networks.
Knowledge and understanding of computer security as well as of expert systems and graphics.
Acquisition of skills to combine and apply financial theory to information systems.
Advanced knowledge and critical thinking on theories of management information systems, especially the integrated information systems (ERPs), as a means of exploration and utilization of enterprise resources and information.
3. Direction of Marketing:
Knowledge and understanding of administrative mechanisms and various organizational processes related to the international activities of an enterprise, based on the principles of Marketing.
Familiarity with communication and advertising and new product development.
Knowledge, understanding and evaluation of consumer behaviour principles, as well as of sales promotion and public relations.
Understanding and knowledge of basic models of marketing in tourism, agricultural products, wholesale and retail.
Familiarity and knowledge in international marketing, social marketing, strategic marketing and industrial marketing.
Management of the impact of the internet and, more generally, of new communication and information technologies in marketing strategies and tactics with a critical understanding of all theories and developments.
Analyse and adapt the acquired knowledge to apply them to a variety of topics of Business Administration, Information Systems Management and Marketing and have infrastructure and are prepared to acquire new knowledge.
Correctly apply the right tools and appropriate analytical techniques in exploring key issues of Administrative Science.
Resolve complex or new problems of disciplines taught.

Upon successful completion of the Business Administration program (one of the three directions) graduates will be able to:
Have critical thinking and understanding of the complexity of the science of business management and analyse complex problems.
Understand and address problems of academic and practical research, with the possibility of design, management and implementation of research work both individually and in groups.
Synthesize information in a scientific and creative way and propose solutions to complex problems.
Understand and properly evaluate the complexities of both national and international business environment, make decisions, evaluate them and take responsibility in complex and business frameworks that are changing and evolving. They have the knowledge and all strategic approach means in making operational decisions.
Collaborate successfully with other group members of a company or organization to solve real problems such as problems related to organization and management, marketing, information technology and information systems management. They contribute to the development of knowledge and practices. They are able to take responsibility for the development of knowledge, skills and abilities of individuals and groups.
BACHELOR DEGREE (PTYCHIO/DIPLOMA ANOTATIS EKPAIDEFSIS)
Purpose: The purpose of the programme is the systematic and continuous effort to offer all levels of knowledge and the introduction of the latest educational and research methods, techniques and procedures, focusing on creativity, innovation and leadership, and their application to businesses and organizations both in the private and public sectors. Specifically, the project aims (1) to the creation and advancement of knowledge and the development of research in scientific areas of Business Administration (management science), with emphasis in the areas of Business Administration, Information Systems Management and Marketing, (2) to provide high level of knowledge for the development of scientists and managers capable to staff companies and organizations in both the private and public sectors (in Greece and abroad), and (3) the preparation and development of new and dynamic entrepreneurs with a business culture based on innovation and openness and fully meeting the requirements of a globalized market. The program is full-time with three directions. It includes a total of 67 courses (for all 3 directions) divided into 7 semesters, while in the 8th semester a Thesis preparation and apprenticeship are provided for. The curriculum supports three different directions of study: (a) Business Administration, (b) Information Systems Management, (c) Marketing. The choice of direction is the responsibility of the student. The first four semesters (A, B, C and D) are common; from the fifth (semester E) onwards students follow the direction they will choose.
Students during their studies, regardless of which direction they follow, must be successful in at least 40 courses, concentrating 210 credit units. Apprenticeship and Dissertation add another 10 and 20 credits respectively. So, the total credits a student must gather to obtain a degree is 240 (30 credits per semester).
24 courses out of 40 are compulsory and common to all students regardless of the direction they choose. 12 more courses are compulsory for the direction, which means they are mandatory but vary depending on the direction chosen by the student, while the remaining 4 are optional for the direction, for which the student has the right to choose either those courses proposed for the direction or any other courses of corresponding credits from other directions of the Department Curriculum.

Holders of qualifications that belong to this type may work either as self-employed or in positions of responsibility in companies and organizations in the private or in the public sector.
Access to this type of qualification have those who have completed at least the secondary education (level 4).
Holders of such qualifications gain access to study programmes at the same level or at level 7 or 8.
Qualifications of this type are acquired via formal education.
