Bachelor of Natural Sciences in Environmental Science (LU)

Qualification Information

- to study, on an advanced level, the theoretical content and research methodology of environmental science;
- to be able to use an inter-disciplinary approach in solving problems of environmental science;
- to acquire theoretical content and skills of practical work in the area of environment and development planning, including the study of environment resources, their assessment and governance, elaboration of development and management plans of regions, locations and specially protected nature territories;

- to master, on an advanced level, methodology of research work by doing independent research (not less than 25 weeks or for the amount of 25 credit points) in a selected direction of environmental science and present the results in a Master's thesis developed on the level corresponding to requirements for a scientific publication.
