Learning Opportunities and Qualifications in Europe
Information about courses, work-based learning and qualifications
The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

Um was für einen Qualifikationstyp handelt es sich? Bei dieser Qualifikation handelt es sich um eine Berufsausbildungsvorbereitung. Sie ist im Übergangsbereich zwischen allgemeinbildender Schule und einer Berufsausbildung angesiedelt. Die Bildungsangebote führen nicht zu einem berufsqualifizierenden Abschluss, sondern fördern die individuelle Verbesserung der Ausbildungsfähigkeit und die Berufswahlentscheidung der Jugendlichen. Das Berufsvorbereitungsjahr (BVJ) ist ein Ausbildungsgang an Berufsschulen, der zumeist in Vollzeitform angeboten wird und die Jugendlichen auf die Anforderungen einer beruflichen Ausbildung vorbereitet. Das BVJ auf DQR-Niveau 1 ist allgemeinbildend ausgerichtet und orientiert sich zum Teil am ersten Ausbildungsjahr eines Ausbildungsberufs in Theorie und Praxis. Es enthält eine Erweiterung der Allgemeinbildung sowie Teile der beruflichen Grundbildung in einem Berufsfeld. Qualifizierungsdauer: mindestens 6 Monate, in der Regel 6 bis 12 Monate. Die Bildungsgänge im Rahmen des Berufsvorbereitungsjahrs an beruflichen Schulen orientieren sich am Förderbedarf der Teilnehmenden und sind daher sehr vielfältig. Die Zuordnung zu Niveau 1 erfolgt, wenn das Abgangszeugnis einen Gleichstellungsvermerk zum Abschlusszeugnis der Schule mit dem Förderschwerpunkt Lernen aufweist.
