The Courses of Specialized Artistic Education are subdivided into three areas: Visual and Audiovisual Arts Dance Music The Specialized Artistic Courses in the fields of Visual Arts and Audiovisuals are educational courses of secondary level, with the duration of three academic years. The syllabus of these courses is structured in three components of training - general, scientific and technical-artistic -, also integrating Training in Work Context (FCT) in the 12th year. The Specialized Artistic Courses in the fields of Dance and Music are educational routes of basic and secondary level and can be frequented in the modality of integrated / articulated or supplementary regime: Integrated Regime (IR) - students attend all components of the curriculum at the same educational establishment; Articulated regime (AR) - the teaching of the disciplines of the component of specialized artistic education is ensured by a specialized art school and the other components by a general education school; Regime supletivo (RS) - students attend the disciplines of the specialized artistic teaching of music in a school of specialized artistic education of music, regardless of the qualifications they have.
