The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

    A képzés célja hidrogeológus mérnökök képzése, akik képesek a felszíni és felszín alatti vizek földtani és környezetvédelmi kérdéseinek, valamint a vízvédelmi, vízminőség-védelmi, vízbázis-védelmi, vízkár-elhárítási feladatoknak, másrészt ezen feladatokhoz kapcsolódó mérnöki létesítmények (különösen épületek, mélyépítési műtárgyak, víztározók, földművek, utak, víztározók, külfejtések, mélyművelésű bányák) építésénél a hidrogeológiai, hidrológiai problémák megoldására, tudományterületükön kutatási-fejlesztési feladatok ellátására, koordinálására. Szakmai gyakorlat után alkalmasak jogszabályban, illetve a mérnöki kamarai szabályok által meghatározott tervezői, vezető tervezői jogosultságra, szakértői jogosultságra a megfelelő mérnöki szakterületen. Az elsajátítandó szakmai kompetenciák A hidrogeológus mérnök a) tudása - Rendszerbe foglalva érti a hidrogeológia, a vízkészlet-gazdálkodás, a vízminőség-védelem, a vízkezelés, a vízbányászat és a vízmű üzemeltetés területén megszerzett ismereteket. - Széles körűen ismeri a vízgyűjtő szemléletű és ökológiai vízigényeket figyelembe vevő hidrogeológiai vizsgálati és monitoring eljárásokat. - Behatóan ismeri a mérnökgeológia és a mérnöki építéstan fogalomrendszerét és elveit és érti azok folyamatait. - Alkalmazói szintű ismeretekkel rendelkezik a számítógépes tervezésben és elemzésben. - Ismeri és érti a hidrogeológiai modellezési eljárásokat. - Ismeri a környezetvédelem, a minőségügy, a fogyasztó ...

    A képzés során elsajátítandó kompetenciák, tudáselemek, megszerezhető ismeretek:  A végzettek magas színvonalon kell tudják kezelni a lézeres és optikai elveken működő csúcstechnológiás berendezéseket.
