Find information on the EQF, NQF's

The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

  7. Bachelor Degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas and Mechanical Engineering of Technological Education. Directions: 1. Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineers of Technological Education 2. Mechanical Engineers of Technological Education. Department of Petroleum a

According to Article 5, Presidential Degree 87, Official Gazette 129/5.6.2013, vol. A, the Department of Engineering and the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Technology have been merged into the T.E. Department of Oil and Gas Technology and T.E. Mechanical Engineering with the following two (2) separate entrance directions and number of places: A) T.E. Mechanical Engineering B) T.E. Oil and Gas Technology.Direction of T.E. Oil and Gas Technology:The "science" of oil includes a wide variety of disciplines for the following reasons: oil, following processes of thousands of years, was created by nature and stored underground. Identification, consequently, of underground deposits is the first stage. It is followed by research of the deposit data using physicochemical processes. Drilling follows, to fully confirm the deposit, and then transfer of the oil to the surface of the earth. The range of these activities is known by the term upstream. They are followed by storage, transport, processing (refining), analyses, sales of oil and its products. These activities are termed downstream. In large countries, upstream is a different subject area of studies from downstream. The curriculum of the direction of Oil and Gas Technology includes both upstream and downstream. This was deemed necessary because our country’s market is small and because oil production (upstream) is currently on a small scale. The Department’s program of studies is a global originality since few university departments worldwide have a similar ...
