    Objective(s) of a study programme: The main objectives of the program of history are to prepare a broad humanities scholars and history specialists: • having a fundamental understanding of the various stages of the process of historical inquiry - from the selection of information, its interpretation and developed historical narrative construction. • having competence in key historical methodologies and may apply special techniques of historical research independently conducted research. • having a broad knowledge of the different spheres of historical research and able to analyze the problems of the wider choice subdisciplinary, spatial and chronological context. • are familiar with related academic disciplines, research foundations, and problems, and are able to collaborate with other disciplines and researchers to carry out interdisciplinary research. • having knowledge of past events, phenomena, processes, relevance of the present society and able to contribute to the historic heritage conservation and promotion and broader application of modern societal needs.     Objective(s) of a study programme: To prepare qualified art critics and art historians, who are capable of carrying out research of various art objects and phenomena, to assign them artistic and historical values, and to present art to the public. Learning outcomes: Graduate of the programme will be able to: 1. To use art historical methods and theories in the analysis of art objects and phenomena. 2. To apply different types and genres in writing art historical and critical texts. 3. To analyse art of different historical periods within cultural and social contexts. 4. To integrate knowledge of different forms of art (architecture, visual arts, theatre, photography, cinema, and music) into art historical research. 5.
