    Objective(s) of a study programme: To train independently decisions making specialists, who will work in a team with dentists and dental hygienists and give professional oral health services, including assisting for different specialization dentists, dental hygienists, service giving, according patients’ needs, standardized evaluation of clinical or prevention service’s needs, systemic individual and community’s oral health promotion.     During the first three years (I-VI semesters) medical students obtain general university education, study basic (theoretical and pre-clinical) subjects and start general clinical studies: first semester essentially only subject of general education (only human anatomy is basic medical discipline); in the second semester general university studies are continued and the amount of the basic subjects (biochemistry) is increased; in the third and fourth semesters general university studies are finished, basic subjects studies are continued and some general clinical studies are started (propaedeutics of internal diseases); in the fifth and sixth semesters basic subjects studies are finished (pharmacology, pathology) and the load of the general clinical studies are increased, these studies are necessary for many of specialized professional studies to start. The specialized professional studies as a part of the integrated medicine studies can be started only when the basic subjects studies and general clinical studies are finished.
