The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

  2. Humanities Master's Degree in Literature Studies (LiepU)

    Objectives of the Study Program: - to provide an opportunity for students to obtain the academic education at the and Master’s Degree level, and the degree of a Master of Humanities in Writing Studies, by training the students for an independent, creative research and scientific activity, bearing an interdisciplinary character, in various spheres of writing (research and critics of writing, creative and critical writing, literary editing and publishing).   3. Master of Humanities in Romance studies (LU)

    - to master the theoretical courses of the compulsory part of the programme in the English language teaching methodology, linguistics and literature modules; - to master the elective courses offered in one of the modules (English language teaching methodology, linguistics, literature) as well as some of the elective courses offered in the other two modules; - to write and present a Master’s thesis (20 credit points) corresponding to the requirements for scientific publications in English philology.
