The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is a translation tool that helps communication and comparison between qualifications systems in Europe. Its eight common European reference levels are described in terms of learning outcomes: knowledge, skills and competences. This allows any national qualifications systems, national qualifications frameworks (NQFs) and qualifications in Europe to relate to the EQF levels. Learners, graduates, providers and employers can use these levels to understand and compare qualifications awarded in different countries and by different education and training systems.

    1. De afgestudeerden van de master in de Veiligheidswetenschappen zullen de volgende leerresultaten beheersen: 2. De afgestudeerde kent de verschillende veiligheidstheorieën, waaronder de – op de schadetheorie geënte - interdisciplinaire veiligheidstheorie van Viaene. Hij/zij kan deze theorieën situeren, kaderen en toepassen op de vijf domeinen van veiligheid. 3. De afgestudeerde heeft een fundamentele kennis van de basisbegrippen, theorieën en methoden voor de juridische, medische, economische, technologische, psychologische, organisatorische, criminologische en sociologische wetenschappen die relevant zijn voor de vijf domeinen in veiligheid. Hij/zij is in staat om de kennis uit de verschillende disciplines samen te brengen. 4. De afgestudeerde heeft inzicht in recente ontwikkelingen (juridisch, medisch, economisch, technologisch, psychologisch, organisatorisch, criminologisch en sociologisch) aangaande veiligheidsvraagstukken en weet die te plaatsen in de hedendaagse, nationale, Europese en internationale beleidscontext. 5. De afgestudeerde is in staat om zijn verworven kennis en inzichten te ontwikkelen en toe te passen op een concreet nationaal, Europees en internationaal veiligheidsvraagstuk. 6.   2. Master of Science in de ziekenhuishygiëne

    De leerresultaten van de Master of Science in de ziekenhuishygiëne bouwen voort op deze van de Master of Medicine in de Geneeskunde. Medisch deskundige: 1. Een grondige kennis van en inzicht in bezitten in infectieziekten- en bronnen, preventiemaatregelen voor infecties en epidemieën en antimicrobiële middelen. Medisch deskundige/gezondheidspromotor: 2. Effectief meewerken aan het opstellen van een beleid ter preventie en ter bestrijding van infecties en epidemieën (inclusief een antibioticum beleid), conform de wet - en regelgeving. De nodige vaardigheden bezitten om dit beleid mee uit te voeren. Communicator: 3.     Ergonoomi töö eesmärk on ennetada tööga seotud haigestumisi ja tööõnnetusi ning säilitada ja edendada töötaja tervist ja töövõimet, tagada töötaja heaolu ning tõsta tootlikkust. Ergonoom on spetsialist, kes aitab kaasa tervisliku ja ohutu töökeskkonna loomisele. Ta tuvastab töökeskkonna ohutegurid ja mõõdab ise või korraldab ohutegurite parameetrite mõõtmised. Ta hindab töökeskkonna füüsikaliste ja füsioloogiliste ohutegurite võimalikku mõju töötajate tervisele ning nõustab tööandjaid ja töötajaid tervist säästvate töötingimuste loomises. Ergonoom osaleb nõustajana uute toodete disainimises.
