EBA Workshop Senegal
|
The GSP Hub welcomes you to register to its newest hybrid beneficiary country workshop, discussing the opportunities for Senegal under the EBA arrangement.
Senegal benefits from the European Union's (EU) Everything But Arms (EBA) arrangement, which grants least developed countries duty-free and quota-free access to the European market for all products except arms and ammunition.
Senegal is the second-largest EBA beneficiary country on the African continent and the fifth largest beneficiary overall, with EU preferential imports from Senegal amounting to €369 million (2019). A high 70 percent of Senegal's exports to the EU are eligible for preferential tariffs under EBA and about 98 percent of these products currently benefit from the scheme.
The overall objective of the event is to provide a forum to discuss how stakeholders can maximize the benefits of the EBA agreement and explore avenues for further economic development and diversification. Please register at the link below.
