Spanish campaign against food waste ‘Nothing is wasted here’

The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA), launched the first institutional campaign against food waste with the slogan ‘Nothing is wasted here, Food from Spain, the richest country in the world’.

The main goal of this campaign is to raise awareness about the issue, by involving all stakeholders in the food chain, in order to inspire all actors to value the foods that are part of Spain’s national cultural gastronomic heritage and to curb food waste and its impact on the environment.

The campaign targets the general public and ran for four weeks, from 1 to 30 June 2021 in different media such as radio spots; street advertising; internet and social media networks (e.g. the Twitter and Instagram profiles of well-known chefs and announcements involving players from the national female football team).

More information on the campaign can be found on its dedicated website: Aquí no se tira nada
