EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting showcases Joint Statements and preliminary study results

The EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting took place on 19 April. The event was held as a hybrid conference with close to 300 participants in Luxembourg and online.

The first part of the event was dedicated to the 2022 Thematic Networks. In this 7th cycle, the following Joint Statements were presented:

  1. DisQo anti-discrimination & health equity - by the European Public Health Alliance
  2. HIV, Tuberculosis, Viral Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections – by the EU Civil Society Forum
  3. Mental Health in All Policies – by Mental Health Europe
  4. Navigating Health Inequalities in the EU through Artificial Intelligence – by the Brunel Centre and Health Action International

The Thematic Network leaders are now looking for endorsement of their Joint Statements until 22 May. You can find more about their Joint Statements and how to endorse them in the links attached.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the preliminary results of the Health Policy Platform study. The contractor in charge of the study presented the initial findings, after which a break-out session was held where both onsite and online participants had the chance to provide input and exchange ideas.

Now it’s time to have your say! Check out the presentations, flash report and Joint Statements and register in the EU Health Policy Platform to keep up to date and share your news and events too.
