Registration open: Conference on COVID-19 lessons learned and looking ahead to ensure a stronger EU Health Security Framework, 22 -23 November 2022
The European Commission and the Ministry of Health of Luxembourg are holding a hybrid high-level conference on 22 and 23 November 2022 in Luxembourg to discuss the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and looking ahead to ensure a stronger Health Security Framework in the EU and globally. This includes the swift and committed implementation of the new Health Union legislations, and in particular the new Regulation on serious cross-border threats to health.

For two days, Stella Kyriakides, European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, and Paulette Lenert, Minister of Health of Luxembourg, will join experts and participants to address topics such as the new European Health Security Framework and its interlinkages with global health; preparedness, response, capacity and lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic in the context of national public health; vigilance and preparedness for longer term challenges.

Representatives from public institutions, international organisations, governmental and non-governmental organisation actors from across the EU and beyond are invited to register here and to join the conversation on social media using the hashtags #EUHealthSecurity and #HealthUnion.
