Dear readers,

Welcome to the September edition of the Hub’s newsletter, bringing you news and resources on food loss and waste prevention from across Europe.

If you missed the special edition newsletter for the International Day of Awareness of Food Losses and Food Waste, you can read it here.

Save the following dates in your busy calendars: the Regional Conference on Food Loss and Waste Reduction in Europe and Central Asia: Enabling the change on 5-6 October and the 13th meeting of the EU Platform on Food Losses and Food Waste on 20 October.

You can still contribute to the data collection on FLW prevention initiatives along the food supply chain, the deadline is extended until 10 October. All actions will be assessed by scientists from the Joint Research Centre in terms of effectiveness and efficiency and those that deliver the best results will be promoted in a dedicated event in 2023!

Happy reading!
