September was an important month for food loss and waste prevention! The world celebrated the first International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste on 29 September 2020. This edition of the newsletter includes information on the various events and activities carried out by members of the EU Platform on Food Losses and Food Waste to commemorate this important day. Of course, there are other initiatives included as well, such as the launch of new dialogue fora, the development of new tools and campaigns, the publication of reports, and many more.
