Annual Forum on Food Aid and Social Inclusion

On 17 December 2020, the European Food Banks Federation (FEBA) organised its Annual Forum on Food Aid and Social Inclusion titled 'European Food Banks Federation: competences and creativity to feed the future'. The event was an opportunity for FEBA members and stakeholders to come together, discuss and take stock of the current situation, as well as to shine a light on future trends at national and European levels. On this occasion, FEBA published a new report ‘European Food Banks: a wave of solidarity to face COVID-19’ highlighting the challenges and responses to COVID-19, as well as telling good stories from its network.

Christmas solidarity campaign in Italy

In Italy, during the Christmas period, the Italian food bank Banco Alimentare, in partnership with McDonald's Italy, launched a solidarity campaign that will lead to the donation of 100 000 meals to 50 charities. To discover more, please click here.
